Vietnam, well know for the most dangerous war ever fought, is experiencing a huge growth in its economy among South East Asian countries. Vietnam is now seriously planning to legalize gambling and casinos to draw tax revenues for further economic growth, according to reports from the news agency VNA.

The finance ministry in Vietnam is drafting documents to the government in order to legalize gambling market in the country and allow individual to set up gambling and casino shops.

Currently, all forms of gambling have been illegal in Vietnam except for the state-operated lottery. Since 2003, however, the Vietnamese government has allowed some upper-scale hotels to establish electronic centres to offer gambling to foreign passport holders.
