EU Not Pleased With German Banning Online Gambling.
Ever since, German country banned online gambling, many gaming companies opposed the decision of the law and appealed to European commission high court. The EU then stated that they are not at all pleased with German's new law towards online gambling and will take legal actions against them.

The EU commission fight for online gambling against Germany is not new.Few months back in March 2007, EU Industry Commissioner wrote to a number of German states that had imposed regional bans, giving them a month to revise their laws. The Austrian company Bwin was somewhat more successful in legally challenging the regional bans. In May, Bwin regained its Bavarian operating rights outright. In December, German courts ruled that Bwin's license to operate, granted prior to German reunification, was valid in Eastern Germany.
